Hey, BQB. So, my newest novel, Ironheart: The Primal Deception, is coming out here in about a month. I wonder if you’d be interested in doing a short post on it to aid in my launch promotion? Or maybe I could do a guest post? Just throwing out ideas in an attempt to garner a successful book launch! Obviously, I’d be willing to return the favor on my site for any future books you have coming out.
Also, I understand that you can’t just put your stamp on anything and let that effect your credibility, so if you’d like to read or look over an ARC of the manuscript to make sure it’s up to snuff, I wouldn’t mind providing one.
A little background info: Ironheart is my third novel and is a steampunk/sword-and-sorcery mashup. It’s roughly 120,000 words in length, has been professionally edited, and will be released in the next month and a half.

Well, I can’t blame you for reaching out. I do, after all, command a site that draws the attention of as many as 3.5 readers and every author could always use another 3.5 readers. If you play your cards right, my readers may very well purchase enough of your fine books to allow you to splurge on a wings and skins sampler at TGI Fridays, Applebees, or the theme restaurant of your choice.
I’m going to refer you to Alien Jones. Admittedly, that little green schmuck has been AWOL this year, tending to the universe’s various needs. Last I heard there was some sort of interplanetary war involving irregular pants.
Ask the alien a question and he will get back to you in his next column with a plug for your book. Usually authors ask something about their book’s subject matter. I have had a few authors just ask, “Alien Jones would you like to review my book?” as if they’ve found some kind of loophole but that’s just lame as what is he supposed to do? Write yes? Then what does he write for the rest of the column?
I’m not sure when he is due to check in, probably this summer some time. He has a few other questions to get to but he will get to yours I am sure. The Mighty Potentate will eventually crack the whip on him if he doesn’t get to work. This blog is more pressing than intergalactic diplomacy, after all.
