What are you watching on TV this Summer?

Sorry. I guess I’m all about the books now. I just lack the energy to help my esteemed BQB columnists get their work out.  Hopefully I’ll find the time soon.

Till then, what are you watching on TV? I miss when True Blood used to be on HBO during the summers. That was fun.

    Netflixing Scandal and Madame Secretary.

  3. I went back and watched The West Wing. I never saw this show during its original run, but I’ a fan of Aaron Sorkin’s writing. I wish our government really functioned like this show. The presidential election held during the show had two candidates with a high degree of integrity. What’s that like? Pure fantasy.

    • That would be nice. I’ve never really liked Sorkin shows because the dialog is so far from how people speak and is just basically his talking points spoken through the characters. I get that’s his point but I don’t know…if I want the news I’ll turn on the news if I want to chill out I’ll turn on a TV show.

Someone recommended Mr. Robot to me, so I’m starting that; the first season is on Amazon, seems good based on the pilot.

    • I have heard good things about it. I feel like there is so much TV now that I can’t keep up with it.

I spend most of my TV watching time writing the ole novels. Hope it will be worth it.

It certainly seems like a more productive use of time to me! I want to keep up with all the superhero shows but I just can’t. It’s a good problem to have 😀

  5. Not much on but I’m watching Ballers, Ray Donovan, The Tunnel, and Mr. Robot. Highly recommend all of them.

    • I forgot Ray Donovan is back this time of year. I’ve watched it from the beginning. Cool I have a new season to watch.

I like the show though sometimes I think it can’t decide if it wants to be a show about mobsters or about the seamy underbelly of Hollywood. It dabbles into both but never quite gets into one or the other.

  6. “Preacher” — season finale tonight!
