Wow! What a finale!
- Big scenes for Glenn, Rick, Sasha, and more
- What’s up with those wolves?!
- I was wondering how they got all those zombies into those trailers!
- Carol =Stepford wife on the outside/Evil on the inside
- Morgan became a ninja!
- Daryl trapped in that car!
- Awesome stuff! This show’s great!
And an extra Walking Dead spin-off coming next year!
What say you?

Hi. I have just watched the first season if the walking dead and I wanted to ask if it is worth watching any more as it feels like there is no real plot? I get the impression the characters will just lurch from one survival scenario to another…is that fair or is it worth moving to season 2?
It’s worth it. It does get better.
Is there one overarching plot to the entire series? Not as such. There are definitely themes and ongoing subplots etc.
Each season brings a new a plot and I think that’s why the show has such staying power – things are constantly changing and the show keeps reinventing itself with every new area they come to.
One thing that draws me to it is that other than a few fan favorites, virtually no one is safe. Other shows put a character in peril and you think “Ahh he’ll get out of it” but in this show, major characters die off all the time. Ergo, when a beloved character finds him/herself inches away from those snapping zombie jaws, it’s a very real possibility that said character could become a zombie lunch, thus leading to some emotional scenes.
The show really finds itself in season 2, when the gang arrives on the farm and they meet Hershel, Maggie, and Beth so I’d say give another season a shot.
Thanks. You may have just persuaded me…and without the need of the yeti for added pressure! 😃
The Yeti loves The Walking Dead. He says its like a sugar coated version of his homeland.
