Disney XD is coming out with a Ducktales reboot soon.
The trailer doesn’t show much but I’m excited. I know it is a cartoon but I loved this cartoon as a kid.
We see Uncle Scrooge’s money and we hear Donald’s familiar, “Yeah!” and the iconic theme song.
I worry they may have modernized it. I hope Huey, Dewey and Louie don’t need a trigger warning before each adventure or something.
Funny how someone can touch your life and you don’t even know his name until he’s gone.
Although many of you knew his name and just paid more attention than I did.
Alan Young died at the age of 96. He was the voice of Wilbur on Mr. Ed (old 1960’s show about a talking horse, would always go “Oh Wilbur”)
Before my time but everyone’s seen it in reruns.
What I found interesting was that he was the voice of Scrooge McDuck on Ducktales. I loved that show as a kid.
“Work smarter, not harder.” Sigh. That greedy Scottish duck taught me so much about life.
I never knew the guy who played Wilbur was also the voice of Uncle Scrooge.
He will be missed.
