Hey 3.5 readers.
How the West Was Zombed was my first finished book draft, the one that started it all.
Finally, I’m getting it a cover.

I cast my vote. As a typographer and graphic designer myself I would go for the one which is currently in 2nd place. It effectively blends sci-fi and western and is the one with the best typography. The one currently in first position I would have ranked 3rd after the brown and black cover which in my opinion is a close 2nd and the black and white one in 4th place as it is the weakest design and weakest typography.
I hope you keep your blog going. I don’t often get time ATM due to personal hell I have been living with but hopefully once everything settles down I will be back in full swing and able to enjoy blogging again and reading and promoting other blogs.
I am sorry to hear about your personal hell. I’m told it gets better but I have not seen any evidence of that yet. Um, I mean, yeah it totally gets better, don’t you worry. Thanks for your vote
It’s already better just being away from the source of the issue, but it could be a lot better still. I’ll get there, always do. Plus I guess in a round about way it’s more fodder for the SoTaR machine
I feel like the more important question is don’t you think the cover for Toilet Gator is destined for greatness?
#12 – totally eye catching.
Yeah, I think Toilet Gator has something special about it. On a more professional note, the layout and typography are great and it’s really nice to see good use of negative space. The only thing I would change (and this is nit-picking) would be the white opacity box at the top. I would have the line and the typography in white over the black background so as not to cramp the curve of the top of the toilet. But that’s nit-picking.
All I know is there’s a gator in the toilet
