As I’ve said before, I’m a pantser, not an outliner.
I know the beginning. I know the end. I know a lot of the middle. Tying it all together is hard.
When I sit down to write a chapter, I have a general idea of what’s coming up, but everyone’s fates are often uncertain. Sometimes I surprise myself when I go in a direction I hadn’t considered. Actually, forget sometimes. I do that often.
I don’t want to spoil anything, but I smell zombies are afoot soon. Like, a lot of them.
And I’m not saying anyone will die, and I’m not saying anyone won’t die (your guess is literally as good as mine) but I’m just curious if anyone’s formed any attachments to any of the characters.
In theory, which character’s death (hypothetically) would make you the saddest?
um, to be honest the only character I like is Gunther. Kill the rest. LOL
I knew you’d say that! He does have a lot of heart and a funny way of showing it.
he’s witty. he’s interesting. he’s loyal.
the problem with a silent protag, is he’s silent. LOL. Hard to win hearts and minds when you don’t say anything.
True. Unfortunately, if this all works out I don’t foresee him in the sequel.
Then you better buck slade up, cause if you kill Gunther, I’m rooting for the bad guys. They are way more interesting.
Oh no I mean Slade will unlikely be in the sequel. I foresee a sequel with infamous cowgirl Calamity Jane as the heroine and Lady Blackwood from Chapter 34 as the villain…so let me know what you think about the Lady.
So far I like Blackwood. As I said the bad guys are far more entertaining.
Cool…just don’t get roped in by the chairman. He’s never called by name but …you kinda know
