It’s like twenty. But BQB’s Big Book of Badass Writing Prompts is something I started writing like two weeks ago and now it’s almost done and I’ve got a book cover contest and if I can just figure out scrivener I can probably have that puppy slapped up by January
what trouble is scrivner giving you?

Uh it seems like a lot to learn and a lot going on. It doesn’t seem to have different fonts, bulletpoints for a list, or if I wanted to draw a box aroun some text. Scrivener looks as good as it gets for dummies like me. Adobe can do great stuff but after a year I couldn’t figure out how to type a letter on it.
Anyway if you have five minutes check out the prompts. It’s a short and silly book but I do think I could get it out by January and it is funny how when you see good covers based on your work it’s like you’re not as lame and in fact somewhat awesome
I have been reading the prompts. Scrivener is very robust actually. I would advise using the help menu to get only what you need when you need it. The how to guide is a nightmare if you try to read through it.
It is kind of amazing how you can write and write but it doesn’t feel real until you see a book cover.

I’m not sure what to go back to next. in my mind I feel like I have to do Zombamo before I get to Undead Mans Hand and Zombed. Since a draft is done of Zombed and Undead is half and Zombamo is started I guess I could just try to bang out a trilogy.
Iliad is hysterical and I’m in love with it but it is so dirty.
Zomcation was supposed to be a relatively safe book. Still has inappropriate things happening but I was least worried someone will get offended by it.
Plus I would like to get back to my detective novels.

I heard about that on a book podcast actually come to think of it.
My book doesn’t have porn, just a lot of inappropriate jokes where the characters talk about ancient Greek myth beliefs in modern language.
I don’t know. I agree I should finish everything that has been half started before starting a new one.
I do think this BQB Writing Prompt has been a good quick exercise in book creation though.
