What is your favorite Halloween movie?
I don’t mean the Halloween series with Michael Myers, per se, although you could mention one of those.
In general, what is your favorite scary movie to watch around Halloween time?

Hocus Pocus. I know its not scary or anything, but its a classic favorite of mine. Use to watch it a lot when I was growing up.
I have many favorites, but John Carpenter’s 1982 remake of The Thing with Kurt Russell is one of my all-time favorites. From it’s dark Alaska setting to Ennio Morricone’s atmospheric music score, it remains one of the many perfect scary films to watch during Halloween time. Speaking of which, John Carpenter also directed the 1978 version of Halloween. Anyway, keep up the great work as always 🙂
Hocus Pocus is good, but my favorite is Practical Magic. There are so many such as, The Thing, The Blob, 1953 version (I like old scary movies), The Uninvited, and of course so many of the really scary Japanese movies. There is one in particular, but I can’t remember the name, exactly, but probably one of the most terrifying movies I have ever seen – probably I have blocked from my mind – that is how horrifying it was! 🙂
